A climber on a rock face at Coll's Cove
About the club

TWO CRAGS,
ONE MEMBER-RUN CLUB.

We're a small climbing club based in Latrobe, PA, meeting the first and third Saturday of every month at Coll's Cove or Breakneck Ridge. Run by a rotating committee of unpaid members who'd rather be on the rock.

Our story

HOW WE GOT HERE.

The club exists because a handful of local climbers were tired of driving hours every weekend and wanted a way to organize trips, share gear, and keep an eye on the two crags we access by private agreement.

Both Coll's Cove and Breakneck Ridge sit on land the club doesn't own. The relationships that keep those crags open are the most important thing we manage — more important than who's climbing hardest or who has the newest rack.

We have no paid staff. We've never taken sponsorships. Dues cover insurance, printing, shared gear replacement, and an annual landowner thank-you dinner. That's the whole budget.

What we care about

FOUR THINGS,
IN THIS ORDER.

Member-run

An elected committee of five handles meets, waivers, and access. Everyone rotates on and off — nobody's building an empire.

Access-first

Both of our crags sit on land we don't own. We treat every landowner meeting like it matters, because it does.

Skill sharing, not ranking

You don't need to send hard to belong. What matters is you show up, learn the systems, and pull your weight on a rope team.

Local first

Coll's Cove and Breakneck Ridge before Seneca or the New. We climb what's close so we can climb often.

Committee

WHO’S HOLDING THE ROPES.

Five committee roles, two-year terms, no consecutive terms allowed in the same seat. Committee names are populated by the club treasurer — email us for the current roster if it's missing here.
